Demarcation of coal mining subsidence waterlogged area based on original topography

Abstract
In high ground water level region, large amount of land will submerge into water after underground coal mining which will seriously impact the eco-environment,industrial and agricultural production, and people's daily lives.Currently, when designing land reclamation,it needs to demarcate subsidence waterlogged region in the future.Traditional method usually bases on the subsidence equivalent curves and local ground water table.Since the original topography hasn't been taken into consideration, big deviation will emerge when compared to the real situation. So making good use of special analysis function provided by Geography Information System (GIS),this paper integrates original terrain into the analysis of surface mining subsidence.According to the analysis above and ground water table in the mining area, waterlogged area is finally delineated. In order to demonstrate the superiority-inferiority of these two different methods, the information of real waterlogged area is extracted based on high-resolution Remote Sensing image. The result shows that the area accuracy of considering original topography method is 13% higher than that of traditional demarcating method.Meanwhile, the position accuracy increases to 58 from 106 in traditional method. Thus, the method of considering original topography is more scientific and reasonable, and closer to actual circumstance. This research would provide precise data for coal mining subsidence reclamation plan and improve its implementation in field
