Evaluation of corporate social responsibility for mining enterprises in Tibet

According to the special conditions of mining enterprises in Tibet, this paper established a evaluation index system of social responsibility. Then according to the AHP method, the evaluation index weight was determined. After that the comprehensive evaluation model of corporate social responsibility for mining enterprises in Tibet was established based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finally the level of social responsibility of a copper mine in Tibet was evaluated in accordance with its social responsibility data in 2012. The evaluation result showed that its social responsibility level was good. Its regulatory responsibility and voluntary charity responsibility were in a good level, too. But its economic responsibility and ethical responsibility level were in a medium level. The result is objective and it proves that the comprehensive evaluation model is reasonable. The application of comprehensive evaluation model will improve the cognition and practice of social responsibility of mining enterprises in Tibet and improve the level of social responsibility.
