Abstract
Based on the 1223 working face of Xiandewang Mine, the geological conditions of corner coal are analyzed according to the actual conditions of working face, and the design scheme of "inverted L" face mining is put forward and the mining practice is carried out. In practice, a working surface docking, three rotary mining and continuous crossing through the two lanes are carried out, and multiple effective measures are applied to achieve the safe recovery of the working surface. Mining practice results show, the continuous mining design program of the "inverted L"-shaped work face achieved the normal mining of 1223work face, and reduced the moving frequency of the work face so as to ensure the continuous face mining, saving the costs and improving the economic benefits; protection measures were taken during the face mining to strengthen the support and extend the distance of the fore support in time for effective control of rib fall of coal wall, roof caving and roadway surrounding rock deformation; the normal mining of 1223 work face expanded the scope of application and adaptability of fully mechanized coal and provided a reference for the recycling of the irregular boundary coal resources.
