A comprehensive evaluation of hole by hole initiation in Daheishan molybdenum mine based on AHP and principal component analysis

Abstract
Hole by hole initiation is the trend of bench blasting in the open pit,but parameters in open-pit mine production depend mainly on operation experience. To optimize hole by hole priming parameters of Daheishan molybdenum mine, experiments on parameters such as pore structure was performed, average degree of fragments, block rate, explosive consumption and other 5 factors were considered as evaluation index and the split-desktop method was used to quantify those factors.AHP method was used to establish structure model of target layer, control layer and factor layer.Geometric mean was used to get weight value and the first three factors were average degree of fragments>block rate>explosive consumption. Then linear interpolation was used to give score to evaluation index and comprehensive scores for each group were obtained finally.Principal Component Analysis was chosen to achieve dimensionality reduction for those eight evaluation factors. The relationship between significant single-factor and composite score with the blasting parameters were fitted to obtain influence law.Reasonableness of the parameters were verified and composite score is 92.6.
