Abstract

Canada has the largest proved reserves of oil sands and leads in the development of oil sands in the world, which is related to the transparent royalty regime. The paper introduces the history,calculation and laws of oil sands in Canada and brings forward three suggestions to our country including transparent law system, flexible rate and sustainable development of oil sands.
