Research on classification and characteristic tailings in Wulongquan mine

Study on the production of building brick made with dolomite limestone tailings raw material,needs to acquire a representative sample from the tailings reservoir and the tailings comprehensive information. According to tailings discharge and deposition law of Wulongquan mine of WISCO,sampling points are linearly arranged in the tailings reservoir along the flow direction of tailings mortar to obtain recent years tailings deposition information.At the same time,5 meters deep trench sampling reveals tailings deposition history information.Through classification and analysis,tailings category is simplified as sand,soil clay and integrated kind of tailings in the triangular coordinate.In order to deliberate solidifying compatibility and forming of tailings,the sample of tailings withstands the specified tests,the related physical and chemical properties serve the follow-up research of tailings bricks.Practice of the production of tailings bricks indicates that tailings material agrees with classification of sampling.
