Experimental study on flotation collectors for a low-grade scheelite in Hubei

This paper takes a low-grade scheelite of copper and sulfur flotation tailings in Hubei as research object.Systemic experiment is done to analyze the serious erosion of tungsten,the result shows that collector of ZL-B used in the original process is bad for the collection of fine-grade tungsten ore. Experiments are carried out to study the collectors of ZL-B,GYWA,LDZ,ZL-B+LDZ,ZL-B+GYWA and GYWA +LDZ.The result shows that the best flotation indexes are obtained with collector of GYWA∶ LDZ=4∶1with the best dosage of 500g/t.The rough concentrate grade is 1.2% and the recovery rate is 84.42%.This will create good conditions for the next operation.
