Analysis of chromite ore resources security in China

Chromite ore resources of world are very abundant,which is enough to guarantee the world hundreds of years' extraction,the world's chromite ore resources is geographically concentrated in Kazakhstan,South Africa and so on.It is suggested that chromite ore market has a relatively high degree of production concentration.Chromite ore resources are scarce in China,however,in future domestic demand remains strong and chromite ore resources are serious shortage of domestic supply.The main problems affecting the safe and stable supply of chromite resources in China include high external dependency and concentrated source of import.According to the problems,we puts forward the following countermeasures:strengthen international cooperation and ensure stable source of imports and reasonable distribution of imports;"going out" actively to access to foreign resources;strengthen the recycling of secondary resources and encourage technological innovation
