Preparation and application of the high-performance foam for suppressing dust

Aiming to solve the shortcomings of conventional water spray technology,a foam preparation and test system was constructed in laboratory with simulating the supply conditions of water and compressed air in underground coal mine.Then a preparation process of foam was promoted.What's more,the high-performance foam for suppressing dust was successfully prepared by this system,and the main technical parameters of foam preparation were acquired by repeated experiments.At last,the foam for suppressing dust was put into practice at two heading faces of rock roadway of Zhuxianzhuang Coal Mine.The results show that the concentration of total dust and respirable dust of heading face were reduced significantly by foam,the efficiency of dust was enhanced remarkably,the working environment was improved obviously,and the workers' health was protected to a large extent.
