Study on the structure improvement and optimization of magnetic separation column

Abstract
Magnetic separation has problems in its opplications with higher overflow grade,larger water nend,difficult to be large-scale.Therefore,after analysis on structure and operation machanism or magnetic separation column,improvement and optimization plans for it was proposed.By introducing de magnetizing and opitimizing the structure of magnetic separation column,the dispersion way of magnetic agglomeration is changed under the combined effect of demagnetizing and periodic magnetic field.Thus,upper water flow rate is reduced and through put of each unit can be improved to be triple or four times of that before.Experimental data show that after improvement and optimization,magnetic separation column has advantages of higher separation accuracy,larger through put,lower water need,higher resource utilization efficiency and stronger adaptability for run-of-mine-ore.
