RECYCLING ECONOMY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF CHINA'S MINING INDUSTRY

The development of recycling economy and knowledge economy are two dominant trends in 21^st century.Recycling economy demands mankind to utilize natural resources and environmental capacity in an environmentally friendly way in an aim for realizing the eco-oriented reorientation of economic activities.The recycling economy,also called environmentally friendly technique or no-harm-to-environment technique,is carried technically by sustainable development technique and can alleviate three crisis facing human being,i.e ,population expansion,resources exhaustion and environmental degradation.Far from eco friendly,traditional mining is featured by massive ecological destruction and heavy pollution.Chma's mining industry comprises mainly ore excavation,beneficiation and smelting.With an eye to making China's mining correspond with recycling economy-the social development trend of 21^st century,the paper discusses the relationship between recycling economy and sustainable development of China's mining industry.
