Strategical study of China's geothermal resource development and utilization based on SWOT model

By constructing a SWOT model,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the development and utilization of geothermal resources situation in our country.The geothermal resources of our country have certain advantages in the geological characteristics;meanwhile,the using has become a scale in some parts.But there are many problems in the development and utilization which affect the sustainable use of geothermal resources.We must adopt adequate measures to guarantee the geothermal energy sustainable development,including reasonable regulation,overall development plan,formulation of laws,and promotion of comprehensive utilization.The empirical analysis has been done on utilization of geothermal resources situation of M County using Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method,and put forwards some countermeasure and suggestion to promote the development and utilization of local geothermal resources
