This paper analyses the actuality and problems of domestic iron ore providing, puts forward some suggestion about establishing long-effect mechanism of domestic iron ore providing form prospecting iron mineral resource, keeping moderate increase of output, improving the quality of ore products, ordering mining and protecting environment, so as to ensure domestic iron ore sustainable providing.
