APPLICATION OF AIR CURTAIN ON MINE POLLUTION CONTROL

In this paper,air cuetain with multi-parallel fans was employed at major transportations in a mine of China to blow fresh air into this midsection at about 40m³·s^-1.The polluted air circulation in the work zone was effectively controlled,and the air temperature in the work zone was decreased by 5～10℃.It was found that air curtain could not only improve the working environment,protect workers' health,but also increase the operating efficiency of diesels,all of which proved to be conducive to mine production safety.
