Development and improvement of China's mining capital market

As globalization sees accelerated cross-border capital market operations in the mining sector,China’s mining industry is far from keeping up with such trend.The thesis examined how mining resources and capital flow interacts,as well as how the mining rights trading market relates to the capital market,to demonstrate that capital market interventions in the mining industry growth is well-based and demand driven.The thesis reviews the history of China’s mining industry and identifies gaps in channeling investment flows to mining industry.It is recommended that China could take advantage of the amendment of the Mineral Resources Law and a series of other favorable conditions,to set up a dedicated mining board on the securities market,to create a tiered mining investment market,to introduce market competition to reform the state-owned mining exploration operations,and to clarify the roles and responsibilities in state administration of mineral resources and mining investment,for a healthy mining investment market to boost.
