STABILITY ANALYSIS ON THE SOUTHERN SLOPE OF YANQIANSHAN IRON MINE WITH FLAC SIMULATION

The authors use FLAC to carry out simulation analysis on two mining options in southern slope of Yanqianshan Iron Ore Mine of Anshan Mining Company.The stability of high rock slope and the possible failure caused by two deep mining options are assessed based on the failure region and failure extent occurring in the model.The calculation results show that the original plan,i e.,deep mining will result in partial failure.The adjusted plan improves effectively the status of deep slope.
