PREDICTING MAINTENANCE COST OF MINING ROADWAYS ON NEURAL NETWORK PRINCIPLE

This paPer presents a new approach to predict the maintenance cost of mining roadways, i.e. a methed based on artificial neural network principle. The nonlinear mapping between characteristics of mining roadways and maintenance cost of that is learned from case histories and used to predict the mainte-nance cost- The exampie give in this paper demonstrates that this method is feasible.
