Analysis of environmental pollution in mining production based on the view of peasants:an empirical analysis based on the L county of Jilin province

Mining industry has seriously affected the living environment of the residents in the mining area.This paper analyzed the environmental problems resulting from the mining production in L country in Jilin province and summarized the relationships among the villages，local government and enterprises in the mining area.Our results show that the mining production activities cause serious pollution on the villagers’ living environment.The local government has provided convenient conditions for the mining enterprises rather than protecting villagers’ interests.In the distribution of benefits，the residents have suffered the consequences of environmental pollution and gained the least interest.However，they are willing to compromise to economic interests when there are conflicts between the environment and economy.
