Study on spontaneous combustion index gas of 15 coal seam in gu shu-yuan mine

Abstract
Various gases will be released in the different process of coal spontaneous combustion.The appearance of these gases and the release quantity can accurately reflect the degree of spontaneous combustion.In order to predict the spontaneous combustion in Gu Shu-yuan Mine exactly,using the programmed temperature rising test and the gas chromatography,the oxidation characteristic of the coal spontaneous combustion in 15 coal seam and the changing rule of releasing gases during the coal oxidized spontaneous combustion process were studied.The curve rules ofφ(C2H4)/φ(C2H6),φ(C3H8)/φ(C2H6)and other alkenes/alkenes ratio were analyzed.The results show that the spontaneous critical temperature of 15 coal seam is about 80℃,and dry cracking critical temperature is about 140℃;CO can be released at normal temperature.The production value of CO shows an exponential relationship with temperature;The temperature of C3H8 appeared is about 60℃,the quantity of C3H8 has a monotone increasing at 120℃ ~ 240℃.Combining with indicator gas optimization principle,the spontaneous combustion index gases of Gu Shu-yuan Mine 15 coal seam are CO and C3H8.C2H4,φ(CO)/φ(CO2)andφ(C3H8)/φ(C2H6)can be selected as auxiliary indicators for predicting coal spontaneous combustion.The results are meaningful in improving the accuracy of coal spontaneous combustion prediction and prevention of mine fire in Gu Shu-yuan Mine.
