    Numerical simulation and analysis of the law of overlaying strata movement in the mining of protective layers of coal seams based on UDEC

    • Numerical simulation was conducted using UDEC3.0 for the movement of overlaying strata and fracture development caused by the mining of upper protective layers of coal seams with close quarters. The results really reflected the law of overlaying strata movement and fracture development.The dynamic distribution of gas migrating Channel during the mining of coal seams can be predicted by the simulation of overlaying strata movement caused by the mining of coal seams using UDEC3.0. This has important guiding significance on the prevention of gas outburst.
