A NEW VENTILATION AND TEMPERATURE DROP FACILITY FOR DEAD FACE IN METAL MINES

To solve the key existent problems of ventilation in dead face in China's metal mines currently,a new ventilation and temperature drop facility, which consists of a light, strong and stiff ventilation pipe ofABS with small diameter and a small blast fan, was designed for improving the environmental quality in deadface of excavation. As compared with other existing local ventilation and temperature drop methods both econornically and technologically, the facility was shown that it is more effective and energy saving, especially forthe dead face and blind raise with small cross sectional area.
