TECHNOLOGICAL PROGRESS AND THE URANIUM MINING AND METALLURGY INDUSTRY IN CHINA

Over the last several decades,there has been great of changes and achieved great successes in uranium mining and metallurgy industry in China.Especially since 1980s,technological processes employed for uranium production in the country include four categories:in situ leaching,heap leaching,stope/block leaching and conventional leaching,and,they are improved side by side.The achievements and technological progresses relating to uranium mining and uranium extraction in the country and summarized in this paper.
