Hydrometallurgical processes of platinum group metals recovery from exhaust catalysts

Platinum group metals have been widely used in catalysts, and exhausted catalysts is a main kind material of reclaiming the platinum group metals.Processes and technology developments of hydrometallurgical processes, such as pretreatment, dissolution, enrichment and purification to recovery the platinum group metals from exhausted catalysts had been reviewed in this paper. The advantages and disadvantages of these processes were compared.
