Research on large section soft rock roadway supporting and strengthening technology

Large section soft rock roadway acts the large deformation, flowing and creeping. It is impossible to resolve the problem only with the method of normal supporting, common crafts and improving the rigid and strength of supporting material. Soft rock roadway supporting have become the obstacle of effective production and relay of mining and digging. In this paper, three-dimensions couple-control technology has been put forward based on plastic theory of soft rock, by laboratory research, in-situ inspection, and numerical analysis. The supporting scheme and management were used in the experiment roadway in Qidong coal mine, and succeed well results.
