Determination of sampling length of geological exploration process in Qinghai province

In order to determine the best oil shale sampling length in Qinghai province, through carrying out the system field geology work and getting the chemical testing data of oil shale sample, analyzed the geological and industrial quality characteristics of the oil shale in Qinghai province, then applied the analogy method, the statistical analysis technique and the reduce data method to determine the best sampling length for meeting the technical requirements and economic efficiency.The result shows that the coal bed sampling specification cannot be completely used; the normal distribution of oil rate in Y-1Y and Y-6Y drilling is logarithmically distributed by statistical analysis, The normal distribution is similar to that of molybdenum, tungsten and precious metals, so using statistical analysis technique to determine the best sampling length between 1.5 and 2 meters; the best sampling length is 1 meter with the reduce data method in Y-1Y drilling, which are sampled by encryption of shale deposits.
