Sustainability assessment of mining cities based on improved entropy method

The aim of this paper is to identify the influencing factors and to assess the sustainability of China's major mining cities. To do this, improved entropy method through Rank-Sum-Raito (RSR) is used. Besides, the sustainability of the major mining cities is assessed and classified through cluster analysis, which is expected to provide some reference for the sustainability assessment of China's mining cities.
