Mining investment climate in Australia

Australia is an important mining country in the world and Australian governments have been welcoming and encouraging foreign companies to invest in its minerals industry. In this paper, on the basis of a program just finished in recent days, the author briefly analyses and introduces the present Australian mining investment climate, including geological conditions, political, economic and social conditions, investment and financing conditions, taxation, mining tenements, investment approvals and government administrative agencies for mining, so as to provide some basic information for potential Chinese investors who would like to make investments in Australia.
