Study on 3D seepage analysis of a large open-pit slope

Seepage is not only an important factor affecting the stability of high rock slope but also is one of the fundamental contents of slope stability investigation.Based on west slope of north stope in the Shuichang open pit mine,3D simulation of seepage field using FLAC^3D was applied to the slope between section No.1 and section No.7 in the geological partitionⅡ.The distribution law of seepage field in both slope and four of its sections was obtained.A sound basis was provided for further analysis of slope stability.
