Exploitation and utilization situation of non-petroleum mineral resources in China in 2012

The overall arrangement of exploration and exploitation of mineral resources regulated its internal demand while economic growth overall slowdown in 2012,and mining maintained a stable development.New trends of exploitation and utilization situation of non-petroleum mineral resources are found by arranging and analyzing the exploitation and utilization status of non-petroleum mineral resources,the registered data of mining rights,operations of mining enterprises.(1)Production declined for the first time since 2005owing to reduced demand and lower commodity prices.However,the production of most important minerals increased.(2)The number of mines kept declining,and intensive utilization of exploitation continued to improve,hence develop structure further optimized.(3)Investment for mineral exploitation and utilization decelerated,economic benefits decreased.(4)Mining is undergoing adjustment and integration of mines usher in new opportunities.
