The characteristics and delineation principles of mining economic zone and the methods of research

The mining economic region is an important media of rationally developing mining resources,effectively operating mining activities,and advancing regional economic development and domestic economy integration.Firstly,this paper analyzes the development profile of the mining economic region and addresses the perspectives of the authors;secondly,it explains the characteristic of the mining economic region and describes the principles of the objectivity,resource-directivity,mining economy contribution and regional comprehensive development;Finally,emphasizes the application of GIS and statistical analysis on mining economy classification,analyzes regional mining resources endowment and location identification of mining spots of different mining types based on the national metalloenic belts,comprehensively analyzes the economic contribution of the mining industry,explores the coordination between the mining economic zone and state main functional regions,and finally classifies the mining economic zones nationwide.
