Thinking on developing a capital market of venture exploration in China

Social fund remains around 60% of all the investment in China's geological exploration industries since 2005,which indicates great disparity to the financing structure of venture exploration investment in western countries with prosperous mining industries.The high stake in this field requires great venture endurance for its investment.Therefrom,the author pointed that China is in urgent need of developing a capital market for venture exploration,and proposed the basis for such a venture market and put forward possible measures of developing the market consist of a pilot exchange for pilot capital market of venture exploration,pilot projects of registered geologists,a conversion system of domestic and foreign standards for reporting of exploration results,mineral resources and ore reserves,a market credibility system,financial instruments such as stock options,etc..For China's pilot capital market of venture exploration,the paper put forwards suggestions for relevant departments in governments and industrial associations to have close cooperation,provide policy support,etc..
