    Effective position determination of air-cooler in working face intake alley in high temperature coal mine

    • The air-cooler position in intake alley has the important affect to the working face cooling effect and cooling efficiency. The paper brings forward the conception of air cooling down length, and determines the calculation methods of air cooling down length. Based on the allowable inlet air temperature, the effective position of air-cooler in working face intake alley is determined. Applying finite element analysis method, working face thermodynamics models are established when the air-cooler is at different positions in intake alley, and the cooling effects are simulated. Based on the calculation and finite element analysis result, the different point temperature under the condition of the air-cooler different position in working face intake alley is measured. Compare the local measurement result with simulation result, it shows that the determination mothod of air-cooler in intake alley is reasonable, the thermodynamics model can be satisfied with the require of simulation, it can be applied to the design of the effective position in intake alley of high temperature working face.
