    Study on recovering ilmenite from V-Ti magnetite tailings

    • A certain V-Ti magnetite tailing is of the type of low grade sample.The grade of TiO2 in the sample is 3.2%,and the content of ilmenite in the sample is 5%.TiO2 is mainly distributed in the fine sample.After discarding tailings by magnetic separation,rough concentrate with the TiO2 grade of 12% was obtained.Then rough concentrate was classficated to carry on the gravity and electrostatic separation,and concentrate with TiO2 grade of 38% was gained.Based on the process of "magnetic-gravity-electrostatic separation",the grade of TiO2 in final concentration is 39.28%,and the recovery rate of TiO2 is 13.87%.
