This paper take Xiluodu water conservancy and hydroelectric power engineering for example,Base on the reliability rationale,analysis test date of shearing strength for engineering rock in dam area.The shearing strength parameters in different assure modulus are acquired and compared with traditional analysis method.The result signify the analysis method of reliability is effective.To the benefit of quantifying reasonably shearing strength parameters.
