On foreign investment strategy of uranium resources in China

As one of world economic powers in 21st century, we must plan ahead and compete for global resources with developed countries. Not only should we consider the supply of strategic resources under normal circumstances, but also take that into account in the war or in the cases that our national security is under threats, which is the natural choice of history. In order to obtain a stable supply of uranium resources from other countries, we should pay close attention to the implementation of foreign investment strategy. Therefore, it is an important long-term task for us to establish an overseas base of uranium resources supply. This paper analyzes the difficulties in implementation of overseas investment of uranium resources in the terms of the pressure of uranium resources supply caused by nuclear power uprising development, and offers some advice on policy support for overseas investment of our mining industry.
