Influence factors of particle size distribution width of GN8 stirred mill product

Abstract
The effects of stirrer discs speed, slurry density and filling ratio of grinding media on the size distribution width are analyzed by Rosin-Rammler distribution function to study the grinding effect of GN8 stirred mill. The results indicated that increasing the the stirrer discs speed or the filling ratio of grinding media is advantage to reduce the size distribution width of the grinding product. And in the range of 45% to 60%, the slurry density is no effect on the size distribution width of grinding product.
