Simulated study on variation of interfacial stress of fault induced by mining under solid-liquid coupling mode

    • In this paper, using numerical simulation, variation of interfacial stress of fault induced by mining under solid-liquid coupling mode was studied by changing the size of the fault dip, thickness of fault fracture zone and hydraulic pressure of aquifer, it reveals the influence law of the fault activation and water inrush under different working condition. Simulated results show that normal stress and shear stress from the interface of fault is greater than interface of the footwall by the corresponding stress under the same working condition; when the working face advance synchronous distance, the normal stress of fault decreases with increasing fault dip angle, shear stress within a certain range in the inclination increases with increasing angle; with the width of fault fracture increases, normal stress suffered by the interface of fault is larger and shear stress is smaller; normal stress and shear stress increase under interface of fault with the aquifer water pressure increases, and the bigger the water pressure, the greater the risk of water inrush.
