Study on low Al-Si ratio gibbsite bauxite dressing pilot

In the low-temperature Bayer process of alumina production,gibbsite bauxite quality will directly affect the production of economic and technical indicators, and evaluation of the good or bad of the main indicators of the ore quality is the ratio of activated aluminum and silicon, that is effective Al-Si ratio. This study aims to dressing methods, based on bauxite ore characteristics, grade and flotation process used to improve the effective Al-Si ratio of Low-Al-Si ratio gibbsite bauxite. Test was a good technical indicator, the total concentrate of Al-Si ratio of 5.41, the effective Al-Si ratio of 11.07, gibbsite recoveries of 92.41%.
