The depth decomposition analysis of changes in energy intensity in China

This paper divided industries into 6 parts, used the LMDI decomposition method and made a deep analysis of changes in energy intensity in China.And then finds that energy intensity decreases mostly by the technical effect i.e. the technology improvement. In the end proposes some suggestions such as establishing system of energy de composition indices by using LMDI method, enhancing the technology breakthroughs in the energy field, encouraging the investment and R&D activities to improving energy efficiency, scientific development of industrial restructuring, new energy and renewable resources industries .and so on.
