Application of momentum theorem in the belt conveyer system

This paper introduces the calculation method and defect of buffer roller in the traditional belt conveyer, and analyzes kinematics & dynamics characteristic of loose materials in the belt conveyer. On these bases, we summarize new calculation method of roller dynamically loading, and calculate the buffer roller impacted by the freely falling loose materials in the application of momentum theorem.
