Global lead resources situation and the development of lead resources in China

This paper has introduced the world’s distribution, production, consumption, and global trade of lead resources in 2014. It has analyzed the supply and demand tendencies of the global lead resources as well as their influences upon China, and probed into the related problems and given suggestions for a better development. Presently, along with the changing of the global supply demand chain of the world’s lead resources, China’s lead industry is confronted with many deep-rooted problems. As far as all these are concerned, this paper has given such 3 suggestions, as: ① We should base our lead consumption pressure upon domestic China’s lead supply capacity, so as to improve the investment of the lead resources exploration and reasonable exploitation in domestic China; ② We should further implement the resources-oriented foreign policy so as to reasonably utilize the lead resources from the “One Belt &One Road” countries; ③ We need to pay more attention to the recycling of lead resources so as to benefit the environment, and maintain the sustainable development of the lead resources in China.
