Study on recovery of sericite from the graphite tailings

Aiming at the situation of wasting graphite tailings,in that tailings,the sericite is 24%.The sericite was recovered by using sulfuric acid as regulator,starch as depressant,dodecylamine and diesel fuel as collector.The grade of the final sericite concentrate is 70.41%,the recovery is 28.95% and the productivity is 10.21% with the flow sheet which is once rough separation,once sort separation and four times cleaning separation with the pH=2.5,the dosage of starch is 200g/t,the dodecylamine is 1000g/t and the diesel fuel is 100g/t.
