Research on present situation of provincial physical geological data management

In this paper，through a follow-up study of some provincial geological cores and samples management and services，the authors grasped the provincial geological cores and samples catalog lists that the Geological Cores and Samples Center of Land and Resources (CSCLR) collected and managed in 2016，mastered the provincial geological cores and samples archives construction and their collections by tracking the situation of geological cores and samples collection，management and services utilization in the provinces.The authors also analyzed the ways of services that some provincial geological cores and samples archives took on geological cores and samples，concluded preliminary the major problems of personnel arrangement，collection monitoring，management，and services of geological cores and samples in the provinces，and finally proposed some suggestions on provincial geological cores and samples management and services.
