Analysis of influential factors of energy consumption in china based on principal component regression model

There are many factors affecting energy consumption in China.A strong correlation exists in these factors.This paper uses principal component analysis to eliminate multicollinearity of the factors and extracts the main factors affecting energy consumption,and then uses regression model to study the relationship between energy consumption and the main factors.Studies show that economic development, energy prices and industrial structure are the main influence factors of energy consumption in China.The regression model has precise predicted results.
