    The analysis of zircon Ffission track's ore-forming epoch in Shaquanzi copper-iron deposits,Xinjiang

    • The Shaquanzi copper-iron deposits belong to the Yamansu-Shaquanzi mineralizing area in the eastern part of East Tianshan, Xinjiang. It's geologically located at the north of Shaquanzi discordogenic fault and occurred as the southern limb of Shaquanzi anticline. In this region there exposed a set of neutral volcanic and pyroclastic rocks. This study has achieved 5 zircon fission track analysis results. The zircon fission track ages range from 126±8 Ma to 177±10 Ma,and two samples of them have mixed ages which are 177 Ma and 240 Ma。The zircon fission track ages are divided into two groups of 177 Ma and 240 Ma. We consider that the two age groups reflect two metallogenic epochs. The minerogenetic epoch is early Indosinian-Yanshanian.
