Discussion on the concept of land quality in mining area

Land quality in mining area is a comprehensive reflection of land use and land properties. This paper discussed the concept of land quality in mining area around the stage characteristics of land use, which was based on the concept of land and soil quality.It concluded four parts,which were fertility quality, environment quality,healthy quality and safe quality of mining area.Land fertility quality was about soil physical and chemical properties.Land environment quality concluded natural and social environment in mining area.Land healthy quality described land productivity and sustainable development in mining area. Land safe quality discussed about land carrying capacity and geological hazards in mining area.The purpose of this paper was to establish a theory foundation about land quality evaluation and other research by representing the concept of land quality in mining area.
