ESTIMATE INDUSTRY TRANSFERRED TEND OF RESOURCES CITIES BY LOCATION QUOTIENT MODEL

It is useful taking advantage of location quotient model to estimate the competitive power of regional industry.This thesis takes Xuzhou for example,studies the economy-transferred industry selection using the theory of location quotient in resource-oriented cities,finds out that the most competitive,and more competitive industries total 12,and investigates that the less competitive,and least competitive industries count up to 22;Therefore,to put forward the suggestion that the industrial development of Xuzhou needs to stabilize the dominant industry of exploring coal,expand the manufacturing of equipments,and develop the contemporary logistics vigorously.
