Research of mine safety management information system on the basis of GIS

After requirement analysis was made for the Mine Safety Management Information System on the basis of GIS (the Geographic Information System), the establishments of spatial database and property database are discussed especially. Finally, the application prospect of the system is showed up. It is clear that the GIS-based Mine Safety Management Information System can achieve better the seamless link of spatial data and property data. And the system can improve the efficiency of the mine safety management.
