Evaluation and index system construction of China′s overseas petroleum exploitation

Based on AHP comprehensive system, this article builds the index System ofChina's overseas petroleum exploitation, and evaluates the development prospects in six outside areas. The results showed that the Middle East, Central Asia-Russia, and South America region have the best development prospects, and can be used as key development areas. The secondary development areas are African region and the Asia-Pacific. North America region is at the bottom of the rankings, limited as to carry out development activities in areas.
