Preliminary ideas on the promotion of the clustering and industrialization of geodata information service

Geodata information is regarded as important intellectual wealth, and fundamental information and the main carrier for geological work to serve the society. The proposal has been put forward to conducting clustering and industrialization of geodata information service to make good use of the value of mass geodata. In reference to the new trend of geodata information service abroad, the paper analyzes the problems existing in the field of geodata information management and service in our country, puts forward the conception of and preliminary ideas on the clustering and industrialization of geodata information service, the focus on which lies in the construction of such nine systems as cluster organization, cluster service, convergence, database, product, policy, technology, standard and infrastructure.
